Where do the fuel prices come from?

All prices come directly from the UK Government's open data scheme. This means prices are official and reported by the fuel stations themselves. Coverage is expanding as more stations join the programme.

How often are prices updated?

Prices are updated as stations report them through the government's scheme. Most stations update their prices daily, though the frequency can vary between stations.

Why can't I see a station near me?

Not all stations have joined the UK Government's open data scheme yet. Coverage is growing as more stations are required to participate. If your local station isn't listed, it likely hasn't started reporting its prices through the scheme.

What fuel types are supported?

FuelFind supports Unleaded (E10), Diesel (B7), Super Unleaded (E5), Premium Diesel, and other fuel types reported through the scheme. You can set your preferred fuel type and the app will show prices for that type by default.

How does the search radius work?

You can set your search radius to 5, 10, or 25 miles. The app will show fuel stations within your selected radius, sorted by price so you can quickly find the cheapest option nearby.

Can I save my favourite stations?

Yes! Tap the star icon on any station to add it to your favourites. Favourite stations are always visible on the map regardless of your zoom level, making them easy to find.

Does FuelFind work outside the UK?

FuelFind currently only supports fuel stations in the United Kingdom, as it relies on the UK Government's open data scheme for pricing information.

Does FuelFind collect my personal data?

No. FuelFind does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your location is used only on your device to find nearby stations and is never sent to our servers. See our privacy policy for full details.
